I love simple, beautiful ingredients like a piece of cheese, charcuterie, rustic bread and a glass of wine. A little chocolate at the end of a meal is always good.
My wooden spoons. I have a small one entirely devoted to making oatmeal. The larger one is for soups and stews. They are well-worn and well-loved.
I've never tried uni and people go crazy for it so I'm interested to see what all the fuss is about.
I cook because I'm passionate about learning. For me cooking is history, discovering new lands, sharing time and life with people. It makes me feel connected. Plus, I like to eat.
